Queenstown police are appealing for information after a man was believed to be stabbed during an assault last night.
The 27-year-old victim was assaulted in Lochnagar Drive, in the Lake Hayes Estate, about 9pm yesterday.
A police spokesperson said the man suffered non-life threatening injuries, believed to be puncture wounds, and was taken to Dunedin Hospital.
Officers were yet to speak to the victim and it was unclear how many others were involved in the incident, the spokesperson said.
