A man has been found dead after a car crash in Southland overnight.
A vehicle crashed into a fence and left the road on the Tuatapere Orepuki Highway (SH 99), south of Jenkins Road.
The police think the crash happened about midnight.
The death takes the road toll for the long weekend to four.
