A 16-year-old boy has died after a fall at the old Ōpōtiki School grounds in Bay of Plenty.
Police said Te Hawiki Hona Kiri-Te Amo, from Christchurch, was one of two boys injured in a fall on Saturday night.
The pair was taken to hospital, one in a critical condition and one in a serious condition.
Last night Hawiki died from his injuries.
His death has been referred to the Coroner.
