A man charged with murdering a woman and stabbing a man in Christchurch last month has had his name suppression lifted.
Shiu Prasad, 52, appeared in the High Court in Christchurch today via a video-link from prison.
He is charged with the murder of Keshni Mala Naicker and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm of Asveen Sharan on 15 September.
He did not ask for name suppression to be continued.
He will next appear on 9 November.
