Firefighters are battling a blaze at the Ports of Auckland.
Fire communications shift manager David Meikle said emergency services were called at 10am.
Three fire appliances were sent to the scene and Mr Meikle couldn't confirm whether the fire was under control or not.
A Ports of Auckland spokesperson said a reach stacker, which is used to transport and stack containers, caught fire around 10am.
They said the fire broke out on the port's rail grid and was now isolated and under control.
The spokesperson said the driver was taken to the hospital with minor burns.
Smoke can be seen from Devonport and Ōrākei.
