A man who died in the Hastings suburb of Bridge Pa on Sunday has been named.
He was 58-year-old Charles Henry Nicholas.
Mr Nicholas was found in Maraekakaho Road with head injuries, and died in Wellington Hospital on Monday.
A father and son appeared in Hastings District Court yesterday in relation to the death of Mr Nicholas.
The 61-year-old and his 29-year-old son both have name suppression.
Detectives investigating the circumstances leading up to Mr Nicholas' death are interested in any sightings of a white van in the Bridge Pa area between 6pm and 6.30pm on Sunday.
Police said they believe the vehicle was being driven dangerously and people may have noticed it.
