A man is still in a critical condition after a straddle crane, used to lift shipping containers, overturned at Auckland's port.

Emergency services were called to Mechanics Bay at 3.45am yesterday morning.
The 23-year-old man was trapped in the cab and had to be cut out by Fire and Emergency personnel.
He was taken to Auckland Hospital.
Worksafe has opened an investigation into the incident and operations at the container terminal have stopped until further notice.
