Police are reassuring the public after an "incident" in Invercargill last night where members of the public reported multiple gunshots.

Multiple gunshots were heard at an address in McQuarrie Street shortly after 10pm.
Police said no one was injured. The address where shots came from was soon identified.
They said they were still working to identify the shooter and were following strong lines of inquiry.
Two others were arrested at the scene for unrelated matters.
The incident is not linked to last month's shooting in Kelvin Street, which resulted in a member of the public suffering moderate injuries, police said.
