A motorist has died in a car crash in Auckland after likely suffering medical issues and hitting a power pole.
Police said they were called to the crash on Steven Street in Mangere East just after 1.30pm.
The driver, the only occupant, died at the scene.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
