Police have arrested a man in connection to an assault that left a 43-year-old man with in hospital serious injuries in Dunedin.
A 25-year-old Dunedin man was charged with wounding with reckless disregard after the assault at Mobil Forbury on Saturday night.
He is due to appear in Dunedin District Court tomorrow.
Detective Sergeant Dylan Ross said the victim remained in Dunedin Hospital in a stable condition.
Mr Ross thanked members of the public for coming forward with information which helped lead to the arrest on Wednesday.
