A second man accused of stealing a number of medals from the National Army Museum in Waiouru has pleaded guilty at the Auckland District Court.
His lawyer, Jeremy Bioletti, says the hearing had been taking place in Whanganui but his client had asked to transfer it to Auckland so he could plead guilty to the theft.
The man, who has name suppression, is due to be sentenced on 26 August.
His accomplice, Ronald Van Wakeren, was sentenced to 11 years' jail in October last year for his part in the burglary.
