Police investigating the fatal shooting of the Feilding farmer Scott Guy are ruling out suggestions that his wife was being followed before he was killed.
Mr Guy was shot in the driveway of his farm nearly three weeks ago.
Detective Inspector Sue Schwalger says officers have been collecting CCTV footage to try and confirm the movements of Scott and Kylee Guy in the days leading up to the killing.
Ms Schwalger says there is no evidence to suggest that either of them were being followed and speculation along those lines is not helpful to the investigation.
