Three people are in Auckland hospital with moderate injuries after fighting broke out in downtown Auckland on Thursday night.

Emergency services were called to the Queen Wharf area about 9.30pm on Thursday after a fire had reportedly been lit outside the front of The Cloud.
One person was initially hospitalised in a serious condition but police said this had since been downgraded.
Police said there were numerous reports of disorder and fighting and they are gathering more information on what happened.
