Notorious conman, Loizos Michaels, who fleeced people of over $3 million with his get-rich-quick schemes, will be released from prison in May and deported.
In 2012, Michaels was sentenced to eight years in jail, after being found guilty of 30 fraud charges.
He managed to con casino executives and even tried to take-in the late All Black great Jonah Lomu.
The Parole Board today approved Michaels' release and said a full written decision would be available within days.
