An Air New Zealand service from Gisborne was cancelled when a private jet's engine blew a ramp off a passenger plane.

The door frame of the Air New Zealand plane was damaged in the incident on Sunday afternoon.
The private jet that caused the damage was at an adjacent gate.
Nobody was on or near the ramp at the time.
