A man is in Auckland Hospital after jumping from a six-metre cliff yesterday.
The 81-year-old was enjoying a day with his grandchildren at Little Manly Beach in Whangaparaoa when he made the jump.
However, he slipped on landing and hit his head on some rocks.
He was pulled from the water and taken to Auckland Hospital in a serious condition.
