A Palmerston North midwife's registration has been cancelled after she provided care for a pregnant friend, despite being suspended from practising.
The Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal also censured Tracey Goff for acting as a midwife while under suspension.
Ms Goff's licence had been suspended in May 2015 because she was considered a danger until she did more training - which she did not do.
She then acted as midwife to her friend between October 2015 and January 2016.
Ms Goff said she provided advice and care as a friend, not a a midwife, but the Tribunal rejected that argument.
She was also accused of forging another midwife's signature on a form, but was not found guilty of that.
Ms Goff was also censured in May for not properly treating a woman who had pre-eclampsia.
