Police searching for a missing swimmer near Westport have found a body in the Buller River.
A search for the 57-year-old man has been underway since Saturday evening, after he got caught in a current while swimming at the junction of the Buller and Ohikanui Rivers.
Jet boats and kayaks joined the search yesterday.
The police national dive squad found the body in the Buller River this morning.
