An Auckland man accused of exposing himself to women has been charged with committing indecent acts in a public place.
Police said over the past few weeks they received complaints related to a man approaching women walking around the Henderson Creek cycleway, in West Auckland.
Detective Senior Sergeant Roger Small said police increased patrols in the area.
He said about 7pm yesterday, a senior sergeant on foot patrol in the area came across two women on the phone to police.
They said a man rode past on a mountain bike without pants on, then stopped at a park bench and performed an indecent act as they walked past.
The arrested 33-year-old would appear in court next week.
The Henderson Creek path links the Northwestern cycleway and the Henderson township.
