A man who was depicted on billboards after electrical transformers were stolen in Auckland has been caught.
Police arrested a man on Sunday night and charged him with theft and breach of bail.
The advertising company that owned the stolen transformers put a photo of the suspect on billboards around the city in October, with a sign reading: "Who is this thief?" It also offered a reward of $500.
A man, 24, was due to appear in the Auckland District Court on Monday.
