The young victims of an aggravated robbery remain shaken by the incident on Sunday, say Hamilton police.
The three children were at their grandmother's home in Ohaupo Road when three men forced their way into the house wielding a knife and piece of wood.
The men demanded food and threatened the woman with violence if she did not co-operate before making off with jewellery worth several thousand dollars.
Detective Senior Sergeant Chris Page would not comment on whether the children were threatened, but said they were shaken by the robbery.
