A High Court judge is to publicly issue all documents relating to a judicial review of a decision by the former health minister to sack the Hawke's Bay District Health Board.
David Cunliffe dismissed the board in February citing a dysfunctional relationship with management and a budget blowout.
Five councils in Hawke's Bay challenged the decision and a judicial review was set down to be heard in Napier a month ago.
But last week the councils withdrew their application after Health Minister Tony Ryall agreed to re-instate the elected members of the board to a governance role.
After consulting with the mayors in Hawke's Bay, Justice Randerson has decided to issue over 1300 pages of written material submitted to him.
There is almost 200 pages of evidence from the councils' nine witnesses with over 550 pages of supporting material.
The Crown submitted 150 pages of evidence and almost 650 pages of letters and reports.
