Central Christchurch will be closed to traffic on Sunday afternoon for the city's 61st Santa Parade.
Some 135 groups are taking part in the 1.6km parade, which usually draws a crowd of more than 120,000.
The parade starts at Moorhouse Ave at 2pm and ends in Kilmore Street at 3.30pm.
