A television crew with toy guns has led to a police call-out in the central Auckland suburb of Epsom.
Police said they received a number of calls just after 5.30pm reporting that there was someone in the Mountain Road area with a firearm.
Cordons were put in place and people at a nearby gym were asked to stay inside.
They said the incident was resolved when it was discovered there was a television crew in the area with toy firearms, who had failed to tell the police what they were doing.
