A man is in Waikato Hospital in a serious condition after a house fire in Hamilton.
The Fire Service says there was an explosion at the property on Brookview Court, Queenwood, at about 10.30am on Thursday.
Upon arrival, they found the house engulfed in flames.
The sole occupant has burns to 30% of his body.
