Police in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses to an attack in Hagley Park.
A woman, 22, was attacked at about 10pm on Wednesday as she walked through North Hagley Park, near the croquet club.
Any witnesses are asked to come forward, particularly a cyclist who came to the woman's aid.
