Police say there is nothing sinister regarding the discovery of limbs at a Christchurch house.
A lower left leg and a right foot were discovered in a container at a house in the suburb of Waltham by a person viewing the address for rent at the weekend.
Police say it was dealt with initially as a crime scene. However, after expert opinion, it was found that the limbs had been surgically removed.
