All classes at Avondale College in Auckland are cancelled on Friday because of a burst main that cut all water supplies.
The fault was discovered at about 8am on Friday.
The board of trustees says all classes are cancelled because it is concerned for the health of the school's 2,600 students due to the lack of running water.
