Police have arrested a man they say cut off his electronic monitoring bracelet three days ago at a bar on Auckland's North Shore.

They say Joshuah Taniora fled his home in Ranui on Saturday.
The 21-year-old is due to appear in the North Shore District Court tomorrow on a number of charges.
