Police in Christchurch are trying to identify a man struck and killed by a train on Saturday night.
He was hit around 6pm on the railway tracks to the west of the Curletts Road rail overbridge.
The man was of slim, athletic build and aged from early 20s to mid-30s. He was wearing a hooded sweat top with three orange hoops on one arm.
