The Horowhenua District Council says Levin residents can now stop boiling their drinking water.
The council told people in Levin and surrounding areas last Wednesday to boil water used for drinking and preparing food.
It said heavy rainfall may have led to the contamination of water entering the treatment plant.
The council says three days of tests show the water is safe to use.
