Two boys, aged 14, are to appear in court on Monday facing serious charges over a sex attack on a girl their own age.
Police say the girl was walking to her home in West Auckland on Friday afternoon when she was approached and taken to a nearby house.
They say the girl knew the boys involved, but managed to get away and tell her parents.
Detective Sergeant Roger Small says two boys face charges of abduction for sex, assault with intent to commit sexual violation, aggravated robbery and indecent assault.
They are due to appear in the Waitakere District Court and the case will be referred to the Youth Court.
