Papua New Guinea's Internal Revenue Commission collected 7.3 billion kina, or $US2.7 billion in 2013.
That is according to the Commission's 2013 annual report presented in Parliament by Treasurer Patrick Pruaitch.
The newspaper, The National, reports Mr Pruaitch saying the Commission performance exceeded Government expectations on economic and fiscal outlook projections.
