Search and rescue teams are looking for a 77-year-old woman who has gone missing on a rural property near the Napier-Taupo Road not far from Te Pohue.
The woman, who suffers from dementia, has not been seen since late yesterday when she went to feed some animals on the farm property where she lives with her family.
The woman has been described as a Caucasian with white hair, about 1.6m tall, and wearing grey khaki pants, a black top and sandals.
Police said she may have wandered off and become disorientated.
