A man has been charged in an Auckland court with the murder of a 32-year-old Papakura man.
The victim, Matthew Greenslade, made it to an accident and emergency clinic in Takanini on Monday night, but despite medical staff's efforts he died shortly after arriving.
Police say the 38-year-old accused has has been remanded in custody until December.
They say they are no longer looking for a knife as part of their investigation, but want to find plastic bags of clothes left at the base of a charity clothing bin on Elliot St in Papakura that have disappeared.
