An injured tramper has been rescued from Kahurangi National Park, near Nelson.
The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter was sent to pick him up from Thor Hut last night but was unable to because of poor weather.
The tramper was picked up this morning.
Rescuers said the man in his 50s fell 10 metres whilst negotiating tricky terrain and has suffered hip, rib and back injuries.
