The police say witnesses to the death of a man at a south Auckland business have told them an argument had taken place earlier.
They are treating the death of the 45-year old as suspicious, after he was found unconscious at the business in Wiri this afternoon.
He died at the scene.
Police said the investigation was in its early stages but witness accounts indicated an altercation had taken place.
A post mortem is scheduled for tomorrow.
