A 19-year-old man is in hospital in a stable condition after being stabbed in Christchurch overnight.
The Ambulance Service said it received calls about a brawl involving a large group of people in the suburb of Shirley before midnight.
The man was taken to hospital with stab wounds, thought to be minor.
