Three men are being sought by the police after the aggravated robbery of a central Hamilton dairy tonight.
A police spokesperson said the men entered the Peachgrove Superette at about 6pm armed with a hammer and knife and demanding cigarettes.
The offenders are believed to be aged from 18 to 20, and one of them was described as wearing a fluorescent vest and carrying a bright yellow bag.
The trio fled in a vehicle parked nearby.
