A batch of Homebrand Honey Poppas breakfast cereal is being recalled in New Zealand after an Australian consumer found glass in the product.

Countdown is recalling 425 gram packets sold in Countdown, FreshChoice, and SuperValue stores nationwide from 14 July 2014 with best before dates of 3 July and 4 July 2015.
A Countdown spokesperson says while no complaints have been filed in New Zealand, as a precaution consumers should return the cereal to their nearest Countdown, FreshChoice or SuperValue store for a refund.
