Name suppression has been lifted for a man accused of removing a woman's teeth with pliers.
Philip Lyle Hansen, 55, appeared in Wellington District Court today where his application for continued name suppression was declined by the judge.
Mr Hansen is facing 11 charges including one of wounding a woman by taking out six of her teeth with a pair of pliers.
He pleaded not guilty and will go to trial next year.
