One person remains in hospital in Dunedin after a fire damaged a house and spread to a neighbouring property in high winds.
The Fire Service was called at about 10.50pm yesterday.
Spokesperson Daryl Ball said three people managed to get out of a two-storey house, suffering from smoke inhalation and burns and were taken to hospital.
A hospital spokesperson said two people were discharged early this morning.
But the third, a man, is in a general ward in a stable condition.
An investigation into the fire is underway.
