Police in south Auckland are investigating an aggravated robbery at a petrol station in Pakuranga, after its staff were allegedly assaulted by two people, one armed with a screwdriver.
They say the heavily disguised pair entered the GAS Service Station on Cascades Road at about 7.30pm on on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Glenn Wilkinson said more than one staff member was assaulted, and the pair took off with cash and a large amount of tobacco.
