A Christchurch woman accused of throwing a knife at her partner's head during an argument has appeared before a registrar in the Christchurch District Court.
She will re-appear in court later on August 25th.
The police were called to a domestic incident in New Brighton at the weekend and a 20-year-old man was taken to hospital with the knife protruding from his forehead.
The 21-year-old woman, who has been granted name suppression, was this morning charged with wounding with intent to injure and remanded on bail.
Her partner was at the court with two other supporters.
