An Oamaru man has been charged with historical sex charges against young female victims.
Police said the arrest follows an investigation into sex offending involving victims who were then 11 to 17 years old in the Oamaru area between 1999 and 2011.
The spokesperson said a 55-year-old man appeared in the Timaru District Court on multiple charges on Tuesday.
