Lines company Vector says power is back on for people in Auckland who were cut off after rain, lightning and heavy winds on Friday.
Only about 70 homes in Glenfield on the North Shore were still without power early on Saturday morning but they have now had it restored.
About 2500 customers were initially cut off across Auckland after the storm.
