A four-year-old boy has died after being struck by a vehicle in Auckland.
Police say Kingi Te Ao Reneti was playing with friends just before 1pm on Saturday when he was hit by a passing car outside his home in Sykes Road, Manurewa.
He was taken to Middlemore Hospital where he later died.
Police are investigating. They say the driver has been co-operating with their inquiries.
