New Zealand won the two top prizes at the World Cheerleading Championships in Florida. More than 30,000 cheerleaders from 70 countries took part.

The New Zealand all-girl and co-ed teams both won gold in the elite category.

Coach Kimberley Ramsay said they were blown away by the win, which was their first since they began taking part in the competition in 2005.

She said the teams spent up to 60 hours a week training for the competition.
