Police in the eastern Bay of Plenty say they are still no closer to finding an Opotiki man who went missing a week ago.
Alan Grant Young, 54, who is known as Grant, was last seen last Saturday and his car was found on Maraenui Hill on Tuesday.
A police search team, the Trust Power rescue helicopter from Tauranga, and a police dog have searched the area around the car, with no success.
