Nelson residents will pay tribute to emergency service personnel on Saturday when the city holds an emergency services parade.
More than 100 paramedics, firefighters, police officers, surf lifesavers and search and rescue volunteers will march down Trafalgar Street.
The parade has been organised by Nelson City Council member Matt Lawrey who says it's a chance for the community to say thank you.
The parade on Trafalgar Street will start at 11am, rain or shine.
